Need to sell your home or your elderly parent's home?
Do not leave town if you give these people a power of attorney.
Not only will they not try to sell your home but they will quote any potential buyers to an outragous price.
The goal is NOT to sell the house.
They will not allow anyone to view the property and eventually---years later..... offer you a real low price. Or....they will come up with a paper saying that you gave them the property. The relatives will have to fight to get it back.
The big trick is to outlive you.
This way they can deal and deceive the relatives.
Power of attorneys should be signed ONLY for a specific reason, for a specific time limit and only with an independent translator.
No translator-no deal. Walk out.
